Ali & Michael Malley

Co-Founded the Buddhist Christian Mother-Earth Church

(the BCMC) in 2009

after returning from a Thich Nhat Hanh Mindfulness Retreat.

(They had been attending Thay’s Mindfulness Retreats since the 1990s.)

Michael (aka Mišhko Mícheál) serves as the BCMC’s Parson

and Ali is the BCMC’s Youth Programming Coordinator.

Michael & Ali

met years ago as Elementary School Teachers.

They are the Parents of four Children ranging in age from 11 to 30

and they have two young Grandchildren.

 

.

In 2017,

Mišhko Mícheál graduated from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio (MTSO)

with a Master of Divinity degree, specializing in Ecological Theology.

As a Seminarian at MTSO, Michael melded his focus areas of

Buddhism, Christianity, & Mother Earth Spirituality in every class.

Together with his work as Parson of the BCMC,

Mišhko Mícheál is also a Storyteller, Public Speaker, and a Wordsmith

and he offers One-on-One Mindfulness Coaching in Columbus, Ohio and online.

Ali and Michael also team up to offer

Workshops on Mindfulness for Families and Programs on Spiritual HomeSchooling.

Along with Ali & Michael’s dedication to the BCMC,

their Spiritual Lives

have been shaped by

Ali’s Gardening & Vegetarian Cooking,

Mišhko Mícheál’s Storytelling Work & Writing,

the Homeschooling of their three youngest Children,

and (at least in their better moments!)…

Valuing Lightness & Play,
